This website is a private portfolio for my job search. It offers no goods or services and shows no advertising.

2. Hosting and server logs

The website runs on my own server in Germany; no external hosting provider is involved. When you visit, the web server automatically stores:

the IP address of the requesting device
date and time of the request
name and URL of the requested file
amount of data transferred and whether the request succeeded
browser and operating system

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website. The data is not combined with other sources, not used for marketing and deleted automatically after a short time.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser (no local storage), uses no analytics or tracking tools and includes no advertising networks. No profiles are created.

4. Fonts, scripts and external content

All fonts (Inter, JetBrains Mono and Roboto, each under the SIL Open Font License 1.1) and scripts, including the Lenis smooth-scrolling library, are served from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts, CDNs or other external providers, and no videos, maps or other third-party content are embedded.

The website links to external services (GitHub, LinkedIn, XING, XDA Developers, the ScreenTether product page). A connection to these providers is only made when you click a link; their privacy policies then apply.

5. Encryption

The website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection (TLS).

6. Contact by email or phone

Information from emails or calls is used only to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR), is not passed on without your consent and is deleted once it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). An informal email to the address above is enough. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Baden-Württemberg this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).
